Issue 65: Youth and ICTs

Education for sustainability. Spider

The Swedish Program for ICT in Developing Regions (Spider) is a resource center for ICT for development. Their youth education project uses the participatory adult education, study circles and adapted ICT tools to provide young people with basic education in literacy, numeracy, personal empowerment and ICT skills. ICT tools are used to improve communication in adult education, and to facilitate access to other sources of information which can prompt the use ICTs to improve the lives of young people in other areas.
