Africa: African Connection (AC)

The African Connection (AC) is a region-wide, African-led and managed initiative to provide all Africans with access to information and communications services, link all African countries and make Africa a full member of the global information society by the year 2010. AC is a secretariat of the African Telecommunication Union (ATUI) and its primary focus is on practical country and cross-country programmes which will enhance rural access to connectivity.
