Africa: Halfway Proposition

The aim of the Halfway Proposition is to articulate the root causes of high connectivity costs in Africa and to map out a strategy of how to tackle the problem. The strategy is driven by the need to strengthen African Internet Backbones (AISPs) and build African-owned infrastructure, and to create Digital Arteries as Africa requires massive investment into creating fibre optic, digital infrastructure to carry traffic cost effectively.
